Yes, it's the middle of the summer and here I am thinking of hot drinks! LOL oh me. I whipped this up to use up some soymilk I had-- feel free to use storebought vanilla or chocolate vegan milk, such as rice milk would be perfect considering the drink's contents. I sweetened mine with a little Sun Crystals and flavored with 1/2 tsp vanilla extract; but posted vanilla soymilk on here just to simplify things. I love the ease and versatility of matcha powder. Feel free to up it to 2 packets of matcha if you have strong tastebuds like mine!

These may be made a day ahead. Keep tightly covered with plastic wrap, and garnish just before serving. It has a 3 hour chilling time. Southern Living, February 2007 edition. This cocktail has all of my favorite ingredients! You can use Rose's Lime Juice or fresh-squeezed lime juice, if you don't mind the work. If you use fresh-squeezed lime juice, use simple syrup to sweeten the cocktail to taste. -- posted by Ammie Cook in Deutschland
