Chai Creme Brulee
Easily my favorite dessert, Creme Brulee beats cheesecake hands down! Rich, creamy and decadent, this version has a bit of a twist: the spice of a cup of chai tea.
Best if you have a day ahead to prepare this: the cooking time includes this extra time to set. — posted by East Wind Goddess
Garlic Cole Slaw
My ex mother-in-law used to make this cole slaw whenever there was a barbecue at her home. It is a nice alternative to sweet cole slaws, and the tangy garlic taste offsets the barbecue flavor. I guessed at the amount of mayonnaise, as I have never really measured. After mixing the grated cabbage and onion, add mayonnaise to the right consistency, then season with salt, pepper and lots of garlic powder, you want it to have a fairly strong garlic flavor. — posted by -Mary-
Sheila’s Supremely Simple Shrimp Scampi
I know, I know…there are a million recipes on here for Shrimp Scampi. Why should you try this one? Because it is so easy. There is no chopping garlic, etc. It comes out the same (perfect) every time, and is always a big hit, (although I would say it is not for the diet-conscious). I have been making scampi this way for almost 25 years, and while I have saved many other scampi recipes and am willing to try them, I just can’t get past this one! I generally serve this with rice pilaf or linguine. — posted by JackieOhNo!
Irish Wraps
In America everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day. Then the next day, everyone had leftover corned beef in the fridge. And being a place where cultures and cuisines collide, … . I’m eating Irish Wraps for lunch. Note: Measurements are a bit of an approximation and just how much corned beef you will need depends on how much trimming it requires. — posted by 3KillerBs
Tangy Plum Short Ribs
This is a quick and easy short rib recipe. The ribs are already cooked so you are only flavoring the ribs and they are lip smacking good. — posted by mommyoffour
