Baked Chicken Kabobs
i don’t always have the grill readily available considering i live in Wisconsin where this year – 2008 – we’ve had more snow than ever, so i was looking for a baked chicken kabob recipe and low and behold, couldn’t find one on Recipezaar. well, i decided to put two recipes i found on the internet together and came up with an easy to make Baked Chicken Kabob recipe which my whole family enjoyed. easy to make, good to eat. hope you enjoy it as much as we did! — posted by Lulu #280529
Halibut Piccata With Spinach
"Describing" the recipe preparation actually takes more time than the actual cooking time itself — so, don’t panic! It’s very simple and wonderful! For example, cooking jasmine rice properly has it’s own little secret. Using coconut oil, if you can find it, is healthy, nutritious, and really flavorful. However, if you don’t have it available, EVOO works fine! And, lastly, you can substitute any flaky white fish, such as sea bass or tilapia, but be sure to adjust the cooking time according to thickness. BON APPETIT!! — posted by NICK SUHADOLNIK
Saucy Asian Bok Choy
I don’t know much at all about cooking with Asian flavors, so I really got lucky with this creation. Try out different greens or a mixture with other vegetables (I bet broccoli and cauliflower would be good) but I love it with bok choy! — posted by White Rose Child
New York Style Cheesecake Adapted for India
A wonderful recipe for those who crave cheesecake in India where we can’t get cream cheese. This is also low fat. Very easy and quick. please let me know how yours turns out! — posted by Indian Cook
Smoked Salmon Canapés
Love this Low glycemic snack! Also great for gatherings. Both topping and toasts can be made early in the day. Refrigerate the topping, covered for up to 8 hours. Store the toasts in an airtight container at room temp. One serving is 2 canapés. — posted by kelly in TO
